The FredSparks story began with three partners; Ken, Aaron, and Brandon. Their ambitious nature led them to decide that they didn’t want to wait until graduation (and the job hunt that follows) to start improving lives through better product design. In 2004, Ken, Aaron and Brandon started their own design consultancy amidst completing their I.D. curriculum at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Since launching in 2004, FredSparks Design has grown into a team that has consistently created breakthrough products, brands, and experiences through strategic research, design and development. We're a small but mighty group of designers, engineers, and marketers with diverse backgrounds and experiences that offer our clients strategic product and brand solutions through a variety of professional skill sets. FredSparks'​ work reaches into many different product markets including sporting goods, tactical, consumer electronics, furniture, lifestyle, medical and more. From baby strollers to football helmets, we've tackled problems from start-ups to fortune 500 companies resulting in innovative product design that has taken our clients’ business to new heights.
