Project Overview

We focused on the history of speakeasy culture and tying this new concept back to its "sister" beer bar next door, Thistle Draftshop. Finches and thistles have a symbiotic relationship as Finches eat thistle seeds and use the fronds to make nests, with "blind" referring to the historical reference of speakeasy doors being blind through the peephole. This project included naming, branding, brand-to-space design, and social media strategy.
