OVERVIEW
On 1st October 2010, the MCS division was separated from Munters Group and established as an independent company; one with a strong growth agenda and a dedicated focus on the property damage restoration and THC markets.
In July 2010 we were briefed to devise a new brand name, perform due diligence on the proposed name across the globe and deliver a new brand identity and suite of marketing communications (including 15 websites) by October 2010.
In deciding upon the new name, it was important that MCS did not lose the great reputation it had and it is was our strong belief that the new name must come to reflect what they do, how they do it and how it benefits its customers and its people.
BRAND HISTORY
Polygon has a strong growth agenda and a dedicated focus on the property damage restoration and the temporary humidity control markets, delivering right first time solutions for the prevention and mitigation of fire, water and the effects of humidity. That has enabled us to create a new, measurable and achievable mission and vision that will drive the business for years to come.
For the first time, the business now has a common global identity as Polygon.
Polygon is the name given to a shape of many sides which we will use to represent the philosophy of the organisation – Response, Reliability and Results in the mitigation, control and prevention of the effects of water, humidity and fire.
Delivering the new brand
Upon approval of the new brand name and identity we re-produced the ‘Value Propositions Guide’, an internal guide featuring each of our service lines and outlining the service overview, its features and benefits and proposition elements. The guide provides consistent messaging and acts as a quick reference tool for everybody in the organisation.
We also delivered a suite of materials that is inexpensive to produce, simple to amend and supports the strategic conviction to focus on customer intimacy, which includes
• Global and country websites • Customer sector brochures
• Service line brochures • Application datasheets
• Customer sector advertisement templates • Presentation template
• Customer sector pop-up banners • Direct mail
• Sector newsletters • Brand guidelines.
In total over 650 documents were rebranded to Polygon and 15 country websites built. We continue to support the Polygon countries by delivering proposition driven marketing campaigns and sales collateral.Client
