Project Overview
Lamajoun quickly became popular among new immigrants from countries like Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Middle Eastern countries, etc. However, it was struggling to reach out to the broader audience. It needed a story that can connect to Canadians on a personal level. It has to be relevant, attractive and meanwhile can showcase the food Lamajoun makes and convey its unique taste and supreme quality. Another struggle for Lamajoun was to enter the catering business. They were also looking for the opportunity to film those few catering orders they have to show their capabilities. Lights and Shadows Productions decided to use owners personal journey as the main focus for his companies story. For a couple of weeks, we followed Sergey in his bakery, during his meetings with clients, when he delivered food himself, organized catering, etc. After learning so much about Sergey and his business, we were confident enough to produce three films. 2-minute Docubrand film showcasing his story and his business in general 1-minute Docubrand film focusing on his new service - catering 30-second promo film.
