10 years ago, Broadlawns, a safety-net hospital was known for 'gun-shot wounds' and deficit operations. Strategic America was tasked with building a new brand on the basis of 'community' versus 'county' with quality mental health and specialty care. Positioning focused on building shared equity around the theme, the health of the individual is the health of the community. While remaining true to its mission, today's Broadlawns reveals a strategic growth in clinics, insured coverage care, new campus building, and is viewed as 'one of the best community hospital in America'.
