Project Description

CJ Foods tasked Upshot with designing a holistic launch campaign for Bibigo, their flagship frozen foods brand, in the midst of the global pandemic, with goals to drive trial and increase sales during a time where consumers were more inclined to dine at home. Despite our socially distanced world, we created a unique opportunity to connect people with food. To grow engagement and trial, we partnered with Postmates where app users could surprise a loved one with a free order of Bibigo Korean dumplings. We tapped into Advantage Solutions to broker customized retailer programs and through a combination of on- and off-platform media, we drove trial at key retailers including Kroger, Walmart, Target, and Safeway.
