Project Description
For the past year and a half, Rival Schools has been working closely with various First Nation communities in BC to create an interactive storybook series called “Bramble Berry Tales”. The first story, released in the iTunes app store on August 1, 2013 is titled “The Story of Kalkalilh”. Kalkalilh is based on the oral traditions of the Skwxwú7mesh and predates many of the cannibal women stories of European folklore. Children can follow along in English, French, Spanish, or even the original Skwxwú7mesh language and learn more about the cultural traditions of this First Nations People.Client
