2017 marked the 100 year anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, the First World War battle where during the Battle of Beaumont Hamel, the Newfoundland Regiment lost a very large percentage of their men on one day. To commemorate this event Legion Magazine approached Tango to develop an extremely unique bilingual interactive digital experience featuring parallax animations, full screen video and interactive maps. We stretched the boundaries of web abilities at the time using javascript, html and css to deliver what we feel is prime example of our creative and development talents. To further this project, on a pro bono basis we assisted in the creation of a 360 3D experience to deliver the content in a way never before seen.Client
