The Challenge - In celebration of Open Table’s new branding effort and streamlined app, the brand wanted to create a national social based experience that put the top 100 tables in the country into their customers hands. The 100 Tables, 100 Reasons to Get Together campaign included a digital experience around Open Table’s concept to host dinner at 100 restaurants in 30 cities across the US on one night using social media as a method of entry.
Our Approach - The program was launched with a celebrity seeded posting strategy in major markets. To enter, users simply selected a city, chose from the participating experiences (i.e. "A Sartorial Seattle Staple" at Canlis) and were prompted to share using either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with provided hashtags and restaurant handles. All content was aggregated and pulled into the brand’s database to acquire additional social content about their customers.
